As an environmental scientist from Auckland specializing in marine conservation, I had the opportunity to host meetings at Blue Sky Resort, conveniently located at Long Beach. This venue offers a blend of leisure and business amenities catering to corporate retreats. I particularly appreciated the reliable free Wi-Fi throughout public areas, essential for remote work. Our bungalow was well-appointed, with comfortable beds and air conditioning, ensuring a conducive environment for productivity. Morning sessions were invigorating, with stunning views of Maya Bay outside our villa, fostering creativity and focus among my colleagues. The complementary breakfast not only fuelled our mornings but also served as a casual setting for team discussions. The proximity to the beach provided ample opportunities for post-meeting relaxation, whether through snorkeling or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The staff were proactive, assisting with logistics and even arranging long-tail boat trips for excursions during our downtime. It is ideal for those looking to blend work with the serene beauty of the South Pacific, making it suitable for both corporate and leisure purposes.
